A little about me ...
I have had an interest in male reconstructive urology for over 25 years. Over those years, I have performed inflatable penile implant, artificial urinary sphincter, urethral sling, and surgery to correct Peyronie curvature procedures to help my patients regain erections and continence. I was the first surgeon in the United States to perform a urethral sling procedure for male continence. To give you a general sense of my volume, as of 2015 I have implanted approximately 5,000 penile prostheses and done over 450 sling procedures. I have published over 100 peer reviewed articles and chapters, delivered numerous lectures, and taught reconstructive surgery to fellow urologists in the United States and abroad. I practice in Nashville, Tennessee.
