A little about me ...
After medical school and orthopedic surgical training, I completed a one year fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at Ortho Carolina. I then joined the orthopedic faculty at the Medical College of Virginia, where I trained fellows and residents in joint replacement. In 2014, I joined Ortho Carolina as a member of the fellowship faculty and joined the Carolinas Medical Center as an adjunct member of the faculty, where I teach knee and hip replacement to orthopedic residents. I am active with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. My honors include resident research awards, the Gerhard Kuntscher Award, the Best Teaching Resident Nominee for the Journal of Trauma, the Max Kade Fellowship and the Hip Society's Rothman-Ranawat Hip Society Traveling Fellowship.
