One Missionary, Three Scholars: Four Committed Surgeons

October 24, 2015

Three urologists and one orthopedic surgeon got their Surgeon Snapshot videos today. The idea behind the video Snapshots is to give you a quick and easy way to get to know some of the talent driving Surgeo's surgeon network. You can go to the Surgeon Snapshot video playlist on YouTube to see all the videos as they come on line.

Each Surgeon Snapshot video is structured to explain each surgeon's area of interest, including illnesses treated and surgical techniques performed. The next section relates career highlights: medical school, surgical training, clinical work, books and papers written, teaching, and charity. In the next section, we provide verbatim quotes of what other surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and hospital administrators told us privately as part of their qualification for Surgeo. Remember that Surgeo is a peer credentialed network, so we rely heavily on the input of these professionals, who in many cases have spent many days in the operating room with Surgeo surgeons. Let's face it: when an anesthesiologist picks a surgeon for his cancer surgery, that speaks volumes about the surgeon.

Meet the four new surgeons:
